Arnab Goswami to receive Bharat Asmita 2014 award

The Bharat Asmita National Awards 2014, instituted by the MIT Group of Institutions of the Maharashtra Academy of Engineering & Educational Research, were announced on January 27, 2014 in Pune. The Bharat Asmita National Awards are meant to recognize the selfless and awe inspiring feats of leaders from the field of Management Education, Journalism & Mass Media and Polities.

Kalikesh Narayan Singh Deo to receive the 'Bharat Asmita Jana Pratinidhi Shreshta' award.

D R Mehta will receive 'Bharat Asmita Vigyan Tantragyan Shreshta' award

Bharat Asmita National Awards are National level awards presented annually to deserving Indian nationals in the following categories:

Bharat Asmita Acharya Shrestha
:-  Best Management Teacher - For outstanding service as a teacher in the field of management education & research in India.

Bharat Asmita Jana-Jagaran Shrestha:- Best use of Mass Media/NGO/ Acting/Direction/Music/Lyrics through effective writing , publishing, photography, use of radio, television, cinema or theatre, social service and/or NGO as a powerful tool for public awakening and creating social awareness for the greater good of the society. 

Bharat Asmita Jana-Pratinidhi Shrestha:-
 Best Mass Media Person – For effective writing , publishing , photography , use of radio , television or cinema , social service and/or NGO as a powerful tool for public awakening and creating social awareness for the greater good of the society.

Bharat Asmita Vigyaan-Tantragyaan Shrestha:- 
Best use of Science and Technology through innovation and/or research for the greater good of the society.

Bharat Asmita Lifetime Achievement Award:- 
For outstanding lifetime work by an individual in areas like politics and leadership, science and technology, corporate social responsibility, film, television, entertainment or any other field, for the greater good of the society.

Bharat Asmita Vigyaan-Tantragyaan Shrestha:- 
Best use of Science and Technology through innovation and/or research for the greater good of the society.

Bharat Asmita Award includes:

Suvarana Patra – A certificate in recognition of the immense contribution to the society at large .

Cash Reward – INR 1,25,000/- in appreciation of professional excellence and ability to lead form the front in there field of application.

A Memento – In the event that two persons (or more) are named to receive an award, the prize money shall be divided equally between them.


These awards will be presented at a ceremony which will be held at the Ganesh Kala Krida Manch, Swargate on February 3rd.
